The Treatment
Nose filler is a non-surgical treatment that uses hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal filler to shape the bridge or tip, smooth minor asymmetries and create a more balanced profile.
It offers subtle enhancement with minimal downtime. However, it cannot make the nose smaller or improve breathing concerns. A personalised consultation is essential to determine if it is suitable for you.
Nose Filler Enhancement adds volume. It does not remove tissue, so results are limited to enhancement rather than reduction.
How It Works
Hyaluronic acid (HA) filler has a smooth, gel-like texture that adds volume and support beneath the skin. For the nose, a firmer formulation may be used to help create structure and hold the desired shape. NU.U uses NASHA and OBT dermal fillers across its filler treatments.
The doctor places small amounts of filler at carefully selected points along the bridge or tip. This precise approach can add height to a low bridge, define the tip or smooth minor asymmetries for a more balanced nose contour.
Every treatment is tailored to the shape of your nose and how it complements the rest of your face. The filler used, amount needed and placement will be determined during your personalised consultation.
Concerns
Nose filler suits selected concerns rather than every nose. Your doctor will confirm which of these, if any, apply to you.
A low bridge can sometimes make the nose look less defined, particularly from the side. Carefully placed filler may add gentle height and create a smoother, more noticeable contour. As the treatment works by adding volume, it will not narrow the nasal bones or reduce the nose's actual size.
Very few faces are perfectly symmetrical, and small differences are completely natural. If one part of the nose looks slightly uneven, filler may be used to soften the contrast and create a more balanced appearance. More pronounced asymmetry involving the bone or cartilage may need a different approach.
A small amount of support around the tip may help it look more defined and better connected to the bridge. This can create a subtle finishing touch rather than a dramatic change. Nose filler cannot reduce a large tip or correct every form of drooping.
Some people are left with a small dip or uneven contour following rhinoplasty. In selected cases, filler may help smooth the area without another operation. Previous surgery can change the anatomy and blood supply of the nose, so a careful medical assessment is especially important.

Every face has its own character. The doctor considers your bridge, tip and surrounding facial proportions before deciding where filler may be placed. The goal is balance, not a completely different nose.
Hyaluronic acid filler is not permanent, giving you room to reassess your preferences over time. It may also be dissolved when medically appropriate, although this is a separate clinical procedure requiring professional assessment.

Nose filler may need to be postponed or avoided during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if there is an active skin infection at the injection site or a known allergy to hyaluronic acid filler. Certain blood-thinning medicines also require medical review. Do not stop prescribed medication unless your doctor advises you to.
If you have a nasal implant or previous nose surgery, suitability must be assessed case by case. Filler may also be unsuitable if you expect permanent results, a smaller nose or major structural change. This is not a complete list. Share what you would like to refine. Your doctor reviews your nose from different angles, along with your medical history, medicines and previous facial treatments.
A topical anaesthetic may be applied. Small amounts of filler are placed along the bridge or tip. You may feel light pressure or a brief pinch. Appointments usually take less than an hour.
The change is often visible straight away. Mild swelling, redness, tenderness or bruising may occur. Follow your doctor's aftercare and avoid pressing the area, strenuous exercise and excess heat for a short time.
Results
The results of nose filler are usually visible immediately, although mild swelling may make your nose appear slightly fuller at first. As the swelling settles over the next few days, the shape and definition will become clearer.
Results typically last 9 to 12 months, depending on the filler used, treatment area and how your body responds. Maintenance treatments can be considered as the effect gradually softens, although individual results and longevity may vary.
Many people may achieve their desired result in one session, while others may benefit from a follow-up after the filler has settled. This depends on your starting point, treatment goals and how your nose responds.
