The future of hair loss treatment is here!
Regenera Activa® is an innovative system for obtaining, processing and administering stromal vascular fraction in order to stimulate hair growth in androgenic alopecia.
- No chemicals
- Without enzymes
- Few minutes of process
- Within 3 months for visible results
- ZERO downtime
WHERE
Androgenetic alopecia occurs due to sensitivity of hair follicles to androgen.
This is the most common cause of hair loss and occurs in 70% of men and 40% of women in a certain period of their lives.
In men, there is usually a recession of the hairline at the temples (receding hairline) and baldness at the top.
In women it usually manifests in the form of scattered thinning at the top of the head.
WHO
During the initial consultation, Dr Chew will assess whether your hair loss is related to the problem of androgenetic alopecia. Once the diagnosis is confirmed, the severity of your condition needs to be assessed, for those with severe forms of the condition are not ideal candidates for the procedure. Once suitability is confirmed, the doctor will familiarise you with procedure and if you are ready to go ahead a suitable date will be arranged.
HOW
Regenera Activa is an innovative system specially developed and manufactured for the clinical application of regenerative procedures using autologous micrografts (obtained from the same patient). The system has been registered as a medical device with CE, FDA, PMDA Japan and our local HSA certification attesting to its reliability and safety.
With numerous clinical studies on hair regeneration, the Regenera Activa procedure represents one step ahead in regenerative medicine for the treatment and prevention of androgenetic alopecia.
In a single session, the patient is a donor and recipient of the autologous hair micrografts, which allows the recipient zone to benefit from the regenerative activity of the progenitor and growth factors extracted from the donor site (usually at the hair area at the nape of neck).
The donor skin samples are obtained by a punch biopsy tool and these are then subjected to a mechanical processing and filtration in the Regenera kit. In this way, progenitor cells and growth factors that have regenerative abilities are isolated from the sampled tissue.
The concentrated suspension obtained is injected back into the scalp in the area of hair follicles by way of a fine 30G needle to initiate the regenerative process.
Here at NU.U Clinic, immediately after the treatment, the scalp is further treated with a powerful 633 nm wavelength LED light to enhance the process.
There is no social downtime associated with the procedure.
RESULTS
Regenera Activa treatment is a single treatment that gives very good regenerative effects. Expected to last up to 2 years. Studies have shown that in 4-6 weeks after treatment, the hair loss is stopped and the existing hair follicles begin to regenerate new hair. It is recommended to repeat the treatment after 15-18 months to maintain the results.
